Estimating the Economical Impact of Logistics Industry on Region Economy of Incheon

Foreign trade volume have rapidly increased by effect of industrialization and growth of transportation and logistics industry in china. Under this competitive environment, Incheon has persistingly constructed core infrastructure of these industries to improve competition. In these circumstances, This study aims to understand current situation of transportation industry and suggest implications through estimating economical impact of transportation and logistics-related industry on Incheon. To analyze economical impact proposed in this study, production, value-added and labor are selected as core inducement. Result of analysis can be presented as followed. First, production inducement of entire industries in Incheon is analyzed at 1.22286 averagely, Second, value-added inducement of entire industries in Incheon is analyzed at 0.47189 averagely, Third, The effect of labor inducement in Incheon is that almost 390 workers. Taken together, we can find that economical effect of air transportation is bigger than other transportation and logistics-related Industries in Incheon.
