Research on Educational Methods of Self-Reflection Poetry

본고에서는‘삶’을 매개로 하는 시교육에서 ‘자아성찰’ 교육의 중요성을 강조하고, 자아성찰시 교육을 위한 실질적인 방법을 안내하고 일련의 구체적인 과정을 선보이고자 한다. 고립된 개인으로 타자화되는 삶에서 벗어나 타인과 소통하면서 바람직한 사회상을 구현하기 위해, 성숙한 자아를 완성해 나가는일은 무엇보다 의미 있는 작업이기에, 정체성의 혼란상을 경험하는 현대사회에서 학생들에게 자아성찰시 교육은 무엇보다 중요한 문제라고 여겨진다. 이를 위해 대상이나 사물, 인물과 같은 ‘타인’에 주목하고 이를 바탕으로 자아를 성찰하는 구체적인 과정을 살피고, 나아가 자신의 ‘의식 가능한 세계’에 주목하거나 ‘무의식’으로 가라앉아 전면화되지 않은 ‘꿈’의 영역에 관심을 갖고 이를 천착함으로써 자아를 완성해 나가는 일련의 교육적 방법을 제시하였다. 이러한 작업은 개별적인 문학작품과의 연계성 속에서 시도됨으로써 그 교육적 효율성과 가능성을 담보할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The aim of this study is to place emphasis on the importance of the education of ‘self-reflection’ whilst teaching poetry. It also explores using ‘life’ as mediation, introduces a practical method for education of self-reflection poetry, and shows a series of processes used for self-reflection . It is often considered that the perfection of a higher self, in an effort to realize the desirable realities of society, while communicating with others by casting off the life in which a human being becomes ‘otherized’ is a meaningful pursuit. In such a context, the education of self-reflection poetry for students is valued above everything else in modern society where people are suffering chaotic aspects of identity. For this purpose, this research, with a focus on ‘others’ such as an object, thing, or person, looked at the detailed process of reflecting on self based on ‘others’. The study suggested a series of educational methods by paying attention to one’s own ‘possible worlds of consciousness’ and scrutinizing it with interest in the realm of ‘dreams’ which don’t come to the surface due to their submersion into ‘the unconsciousness’. Such work is expected to guarantee its education efficiency and success when the work is attempted in conjunction with literary works.
