The Effects of Learning Portfolio Activities in Curriculum for Student Teachers

본 연구의 목적은 예비교사 교육과정에서 학습 포트폴리오 활용의 효과를 밝히는데 있다. 이를 위해 학습 포트폴리오 활동이 예비교사의 자기주도성과 학습 포트폴리오에 대한 인식에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 연구대상은 전라북도에 소재한 대학의 교사양성 과정에 참여하고 있는 80명의 예비교사이다. 본 연구에 참여한 예비교사들은 15주 동안 학습 포트폴리오 활동에 참여하였다. 예비교사의 자기주도성과 학습포트폴리오에 대한 인식을 측정하기 위해 사전검사와 사후검사에서 자기주도성 검사와 학습 포트폴리오에 대한 인식 검사를 사용하였으며, 자료분석은 종속표본 t-검증과 주제별 약호화 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 학습 포트폴리오 활동은 예비교사들의 자기주도성과 학습 포트폴리오에 대한 인식을 증진시켰다.

This study examines the effects of learning portfolio activities in curriculum for student teachers. To achieve this objective, we analyzed the effects of learning portfolio activities on student teachers’ self-direction and their perception of the learning portfolio. Eighty student teachers were selected from a University in Jeon-buk Province. For fifteen weeks, eighty of the student teachers participated in learning portfolios activities. A test of self-direction and a test of perception of the leaning portfolio were used as both pre and post tests for assessing the subjects’ self-direction and their perception of the leaning portfolio. The data was analyzed with a dependent-samples t-test and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the student teachers were positively influenced in their self-direction and in their perception of the learning portfolio.
