미학적 무관심성에 대한 교육적 탐구

Educational Implications of Aesthetic Disinterestedness

이 글은 미학적 무관심성 그리고 학습자의 무관심적 태도가 학습활동에서 지니는 의미를 탐색하고 이에 근거하여 교육활동이 어떻게 변화해야 할지를 제안하는데 그 목적을 두었다. 무관심성의 개념과 기능에 대한 역사적 고찰의 결과, 학습자의 무관심적 태도는 학습 대상 자체에 온전히 관심을 두고 몰입을 할 수 있게 만드는 요인이며, 동시에 몰입한 대상으로부터 벗어나서 창조적 지식을 얻고 진정한 자유에 이르게 만드는 요인이므로 교사는 학습자의 무관심적 태도를 이끌어내는데 노력해야 함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 학습자의 무관심적 태도를 이끌어낼 수 있는 교육활동의 변화 방향을 교육내용의 미적 특성 확보와 학습자의 무관심적 태도 함양으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 교육내용이 미적 특성을 지니려면 적절한 난이도의 교육내용을 제공해야 하고 학습내용과 내용의 표현형태가 내적 연관성과 통합성을 갖추어야 하며, 교육내용의 창조적 반복이 필요함을 설명하였다. 그리고 미적 주체의 무관심적 태도를 함양하기 위해서는 학습자가 무관심적 태도의 중요성을 알도록 하여 능동성을 확보해야 하고 학습자가 자신의 판단 능력의 한계를 인지할 기회를 제공해야 하며, 학습자가 무관심적 태도를 연습할 상황을 제공할 필요가 있음을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this paper is to review ‘disinterestedness’, the essential term of aesthetics, to find some useful suggestions for what direction the contemporary education should pursue. Student pay attention and is absorbed in the contents as aesthetic subjects through disinterestedness of student, in particular distance from the oneself. Also, Student gradually edged away from contents through disinterestedness of student, in particular distance from the contents and think in creatively new terms. So disinterestedness of student is essential element for fullness-experience of student, and it is needed that teacher make a greater effort development student’s disinterestedness. As the final outcome, I suggest methods that teacher turned the contents into aesthetic subjects and improve the student’s disinterestedness. To teacher turned the contents into aesthetic subjects, provide proper difficulty of the contents, interrelate and integrate contents and it’s form, and creatively repeat contents based on educational rhythm. Also, to teacher improve the student’s disinterestedness, inform students of meaningfulness of disinterestedness, and drawback of one-sided judgment, give a chance of practice on disinterestedness.
