A Study on the Chinese Green Policy and Its Purpose of Economy and Social Development

중국의 경제규모는 꾸준히 증가하여 현재 중국은 미국과 함께 G2 국가로 인정받고 있다. 이처럼 중국이 국제사회에서 가지는 위상이 높아짐에 따라 기후변화대응을 위한 국제적인 노력에서 중국의 역할에 대한 논의가 점차 높아지고 있다. 그러나 중국은 세계에서 가장 많은 인구를 가지고 있으며 경제발전으로 인한 소비는 지속적으로 높아질 예상이다. 따라서 중국에서 저탄소 경제시스템을 구축하는 것은 매우 중요한 문제이다. 중국은 이미 재생에너지 분야 중 태양열, 풍력, 수력발전 등에서 국제적인 규모와 기술적 경쟁력을 가지고 있다. 중국은 발전국가 형태의 경제발전을 추진하고 있기 때문에 중국정부의 녹색성장정책에 대해 이해하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 중국의 정책적인 녹색산업발전과 이에 따른 녹색시장의 성장은 중국과 인접한 한국기업에게도 매우 큰 기회를 부여할 것이다. 녹색성장정책의 단계별 발전 과정을 분석하고 녹색시장의 변화를 분석하는 것은 향후 한국기업의 중국진출에 중요한 역할을 할 것이다.

China already has grown to become one of the largest economic power in the world. With an China’s international status as G2, China’s responsibility for responding to climate change, one of the biggest issues in the international community, is also critical. China has world’s largest population, it is huge challenge to settle low-carbon economy in China. China’s green energy, such as solar power, wind power, water power, already has sufficient competitive advantage in size and technology. China takes ‘developmental state model’ for its long term economic strategy. Therefore, it is important to understand the government’s policy concerning green economy in order to predict the future of China’s economy. China’s effort to develop their green industry provides great chance for Korean enterprises to take advantage of Chinese newly expanded green markets. It is important to monitor market trend of China and changes of China’s policies on green development.
