The study on the Chromaticity Change of Acid Coating Hair-dyeing Products by Shampoo TreatmentⅡ

This study is intended to compare and analyze coloring by color and product according to washing frequency using red, yellow, and blue of acid coating colors. First, with regard to the red acid coating color, products of A and B companies showed relatively stable results, whereas a product of C company showed a big change. It suggests that it is good for customers who want a change of color over time after treatment of acid coating. Second, with regard to the yellow acid coating color, all products of three foreign companies showed relatively stable changes in L* and a*, whereas there was an irregular tendency in b* due to partial bleaching of hair, which should be carefully considered in customer treatment. Third, with regard to the blue acid coating color, products of A and B companies showed relatively stable results, whereas a product of C company had somewhat unstable results. It suggests that further research is necessary. Finally, this study contributed to understanding of difference in color changes of foreign products by color and manufacturer. Based on this result, it is considered that the better understanding of color and the characteristics of each product by manufacturer is important to select products which satisfy customers’ conditions.
