This study has attempted to investigate and analyze mineral contents (ex: nutrient, toxic element, etc.) in hairdressers’ hair. In nutrients, statistically significant difference was observed in terms of Mg and Se contents <p<.01>. In terms of Mg content, the experimental group was greater than the control group. Se content, on the contrary, was lower than the control group. In toxic elements, ‘U’ content was slightly high in the experimental group. However, As, Be, Hg, Cd, Pb and Al contents were relatively high in the control group. Even so, no statistical significance was detected (p>.05). Because the contents are within normal limits, there is no heavy metal poisoning. In other elements, statistical significance was observed in Sr content (p<.01). The experimental group showed greater Sr content than the control group. In terms of Ba, Bi, Li, Ni, Sn and Ti contents as well, the test group was slightly greater than the control group. Even though the control group was relatively higher than the experimental group in terms of Rb, V and Zr contents, no statistical significance was observed.
