A Literary Representation of the Migrant in poems by Ha Jong-oh

This study analyzed ‘a representation of the migrant’ in poems by Ha Jong-oh. ‘A literary representation of the migrant’ is difficult because writers might be able to appropriate migrants. So, it needs to be done carefully. Ha Jong-oh has been working on ‘a literary representation of the migrant’ in many poems. So this study analyzed in detail ‘a representation of the migrant’ in poems by Ha Jong-oh. The results are as follows. First, Ha Jong-oh challenges to ‘a distorted representation of the migrant’. Second, Ha Jong-oh tries to avoid an attitude that appropriate the migrant. And He make a thorough investigation himself. The third, Ha Jong-oh is criticizing the Korean society through migrant. The fourth, Ha Jong-oh keeps the way to realize the coexistence with all the people. In this way, Ha Jong-oh has been working on ‘a literary representation of the migrant’ in many poems.
