The Sentences with a Object of Movement Purpose and Complex Predicates

본고는 목적성 이동동사 구문의 ‘가다, 오다, 다니다’ 등의 이동동사가 〈NP-가, NP-에/에게/으로, NP-을〉의 논항구조을 갖는다는 점을 확인하고, 이중 일부는 [NP-을(목적성 목적어)+이동동사]로 구성되는 복합서술어의 논항구조에 따라 형성된 구문임을 밝히고자 하였다. ‘가다, 오다, 다니다’ 등이 목적성 ‘을’ 성분을 목적어 논항으로 갖는다는 점은 부사어 삽입 허용 현상, 관형어 수식 허용 현상 등을 통하여 확인하였고, 목적성 목적어와 이동동사가 연어 관계를 맺는다는 사실은 대용화 불가 현상, 이동동사에 대한 어휘적 유사어 대치 불가 현상 등을 통하여 검증하였다. 목적성 목적어와 이동동사의 연어적 결합은 내적으로는 통사적 구성이지만 한 단위가 되어 독자적인 논항구조를 갖는 복합서술어를 구성하기도 한다. 따라서 [NP-을+보내다]의 목적성 이동동사 구문은 ‘보내다’ 구문이 아니라〈NP-가, NP-을, NP-에/에게/으로〉라는 논항구조를 갖는 복합서술어 [NP-을+보내다]가 형성하는 구문임을 증명하였다. 또한[NP+이동동사]는 한 단어가 아니라 복합서술어[NP-을+이동동사]에서 격조사 ‘을’이 생략된 복합서술어라고 보았다. 그런데 본고는 목적성 이동동사 구문을 형성하ㄴ=ㄴ 목적성 목적어와 이동동사의 목록과 특성, 그리고 복합서술어[NP-을+이동동사]의 목록과 유형 분류, 어휘부 처리 방법 등에 대해서는 구체적으로 논의하지 못했다. 이러한 미비점은 많은 자료를 검토한 후에 보완되어야 할 과제로 남았다.

The First aim of this paper is to ascertain that the sentences with a object of movement purpose(SOMP) is formed on the base of the argument structure of the movement verbs(MV). The second aim is to clarify that some [NP-을+MV]s of SOMP are complex precates(CP). The argument structure of The MVs in SOMP is 〈NP-가, NP-에/에게/으로, NP-을〉. ‘NP-을’ in this argument structure has the meaning of ‘the purpose of movement action’. The theory that assist deep structure of SOMP to be complex sentence with ‘하러’ subordinate clause has a fault that the transformation rule of ‘하러’ ellipsis is irregular in a range of application. And the fact that MVs select the argument of SOMP prove that MV isn’t a functional verb. Some of [NP-을+MV] in SOMP are the complex predicates which have it’s own argument structure. This phenomenon have relevance to the fact that ‘NP-을’ and MV is the collocational construction. The theory that SOMPs are the surface structure resulted from the restructuring have a fault that a range of it’s application is irregular. And I insist that [NP-을+보내다] in SOMP is the complex predicate. [NP-을+보내다] CP has the argument structure of 〈NP-가, NP-을, NP-에/에게/으로〉. Also I assert that [NP+MV] is the complex predicate which ‘을’ is omitted in [NP-을+MV]. [NP+MV] the morpho-syntactic constructions that not only the constituents of it combine syntactically, but also it has it’s own argument structure.
