장애아동재활치료사업에서 가족중심실천이 가족임파워먼트에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Family-Centered Practice on Family Empowerment in the Disable Child Service Bauocher

본 연구는 장애아동재활치료사업에 참여한 이용자와 치료사를 대상으로 서비스 전달과정에서 가족중심실천정도를 파악하였다. 이와 함께 가족중심실천이 장애아동 가족임파워먼트에 미치는 영향력을 분석하였다. 가족중심실천은 사회복지서비스를 제공하는 과정에서 서비스 제공기관이 어느 정도 장애인 가족의 참여와 의사결정권을 존중하고, 이를 실천 과정에 반영하는가를 의미한다. 분석결과 장애아동재활치료 사업의 가족중심실천정도에 대한 인식은 서비스 제공자가 사업에 참여한 이용자보다 유의한 정도로 높게 인식하고 있었다. 이와 함께 서비스 제공과정에서 가족중심실천정도가 높을수록 가족의 임파워먼트가 높아지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 장애아동재활치료사업이 장애인 가족의 임파워먼트를 강화하기 위해서는 전문직 종사자들이 가족중심실천의 원칙과 가치를 숙지할 필요가 있으며, 이를 이용자들이 인식할 수 있도록 적극적으로 실천하는 것이 요구됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

This article discusses the effect of family-centered practice on family empowerment in the disable child service bauocher. Family-Centered Practice strengthen the capacity of parents to care for and protect their children and promote the family’s capacity to manage their own lives. And Family-Centered Practice is based on a set of values, beliefs and principles that recognize that families can contribute to all aspects of services through their active participation. The findings indicate that although practitioner or therapist recognized family-centered practice as important in the Disable Child Service bauocher, they only perform therapeutic services. Therefore practitioner or therapist in the Disable Child Service bauoche are required to improve the performance of Family-Centered Practice strategies and to consider the viewpoint of Family-Centered Practice’s values, beliefs and principles. Fanally, Family-Centered Practice empower family by appreciation of family’s values, beliefs, and by participating them as partners in decision making.
