The Characteristics of House Distribution in Seoul

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study is to understand housing supply characteristics in Seoul. This study suggests the way of developing better policies and plans for Seoul based on research findings. The methods of its analysis are through the techniques of urban spacial analysis that closely examine patterns of urban space. (2) RESEARCH METHOD In this study, I examined that what housing supply can contribute to the spatial structure of a city under the situation that the spatial structure of Seoul has been distorted, and analyzed the spatial distribution and the changes in location of housing supply. (3) RESEARCH FINDINGS In the results of this survey, the most important problem is unbalance of housing supply. 2. RESULTS The results of the regional population of Seoul increased the intensity of being in a situation where housing supply is mitigated by the intensity of the situation even more is being focused. If left untreated, these symptoms biased housing deepen regional disparities considered listed as a future consideration of the policy was proposed to be established.
