This paper claims that agrotourism is a form of tourism, which allows re-discovering the culture of the Polish countryside and create a meeting place for peoples and their cultures. Tourism may lead to a confrontation, exchange, and re-discovering of cultures of its respective participants. The study focused on the analysis of agrotourism offers, which advertised their services on the Internet. We prepared an index of the small firms (largely individual households-farms) based on the following criteria: hospitality, richness of leisure activities on offer, experience of regional culture. This was compared against the degree of customer satisfaction in relation to the presented offers. This article aims to show the role of tourism in bridging the culture of the Polish countryside.
