고등학교 영어과 지도서의 특징 및 활용의 실제

Aspects and practical uses of high school English teachers’ guidebook

For the last decades Korea has tried to make every effort to enhance secondary school students’ practical use of English, cooperated with in-school education as well as social networks of education. It might be natural that students are challenging for the improvement of EFL proficiency. To improve students’ English proficiency, teachers’ role of class management should be incorporated into students’ attitude and teaching materials. This article aimed at presenting various ways to use teacher’s guidebooks for teaching each skill of English on basis of the Revised 7th Education Curriculum of Foreign Languages(High School English, English Ⅰ). In addition, it surveyed an appropriate criterion and method of assessment which could be applied to teaching and learning English textbooks. It is desirable that this study help English teachers using teachers’ guidebooks develop creative English classes with their philosophy of education.
