전통놀이 프로그램이 초등학생의 창의성 및 정서지능에 미치는 영향

The influence of traditional play programs on creativity and emotional intelligence of elementary school students

놀이가 아동의 창의성과 정서지능 발달에 도움이 된다는 연구 결과에도 불구하고, 전통놀이가 창의성과 정서지능 발달에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지에 대한 연구는 많지 않다. 본 연구에서는 아동들이 새롭게 구성한 전통놀이 프로그램이 창의성에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 이를 위해 전라북도 J시에 소재하는 초등학교 4학년 학생을 실험집단(31명)과 통제집단(28명)으로 배정한 다음, 실험집단을 대상으로 비석치기, 칠교놀이, 여왕벌 싸움, 말타기 놀이, 무궁화꽃이피었습니다 놀이 등으로 구성된 전통놀이 프로그램을 주 2회 총 12차시 실시하였다. 그 결과 전통놀이 프로그램은 초등학생들의 창의성 하위 요인 중에서 독창성, 추상성, 정교성, 정서지능 하위 요인 중에서 정서표현 요인을 신장시키는 데 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

This study aims to find out what influence traditional play programs have on creativity and emotional intelligence. In order to verify the objectives of this study, 59 subjects who were in the 4 th grade of an elementary school located in J city, Jeonrabukdo were selected and of them 31 subjects belonged to experimental group and 28 subjects belonged to control group. Post-test was given to both groups after program was given to subjects of control group over 12 sessions. Main results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that traditional play programs improved originality, abstractness, elaboration in sub factors of creativity. Second, it was found that traditional play programs improved emotional expression in sub factors of emotional intelligence. The result of this study suggested that traditional play programs had a positive influence on creativity and emotional intelligence. Therefore, it is necessary that diverse traditional play programs should be developed and their effects should be verified. In addition, Teacher training designed to develop and promote traditional play that can enhance creativity and emotional intelligence and administrative support for teaching aids that are used to teach traditional play are needed.
