음악적 개념에 기초한 음악활동이 유아의 음악적 태도와 사회ㆍ정서 발달에 미치는 영향

Effects of music activities based on musical concept on children’s musical attitude and SocioㆍEmotional development

본 연구는 음악적 개념에 기초한 음악활동을 구성하고 이를 유아교육현장에 적용하여 만5세 유아의 음악적 태도와 사회ㆍ정서 발달에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 G시의 B어린이집과 S어린이집에 재원 중인 유아 40명을 20명은 실험집단에, 나머지 20명은 통제집단에 무선배치하였다. 실험집단에는 8주 동안 주 2회(30분)씩 총 16회의 음악적 개념에 기초한 음악활동을 실시하였고 통제집단에는 주 2회, 전통적 음악활동을 실시하였다. 연구결과 음악적 태도 3개 하위요인(탐색, 표현, 감상) 중 탐색에서 가장 유의한 증진을 보였으며, 사회ㆍ정서 6개 하위요인(교사에의 비의존성, 내적통제, 또래와의 상호작용, 안정감, 성취동기, 호기심) 중 또래와의 상호작용과 안정감에서 긍정적인 결과를 나타냈다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 유아의 음악적 태도와 사회ㆍ정서 발달을 위해 음악적 개념에 기초한 음악활동의 교수-학습 방법을 제시하고자 하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigates effect of music activities based on musical concept on children's musical attitude and socioㆍemotional development. Music activities based on musical concept were applied to 40 children with age of 5 years. Music activities based on music concept was constructed to the experimental group, while the comparative group got traditional music activities. Children’s musical attitude was assessed using the scale developed by Park(2009). Children’s socioㆍemotional development was assessed using the scale developed by Huh et al.(1978). The collected data were statically analyzed using the SPSS 15.0 program to carry out ANCOVA for statistical analysis. The findings of this study were as follows. As for the musical attitude and social and emotional development children in the experimental group are higher than those in the comparison group, and the difference is statistically significant. In conclusion, this study's Music Activity on based musical concept is effective for the increasing of children’s musical attitude and socio and emotional development.
