유치원과 어린이집의 종일반 운영관리 비교 연구

Comparative Study on the Operating Status of Full-Day Class in Kindergarten and Child-Care Center

이 연구의 목적은 유치원과 어린이집의 종일반 운영관리를 비교•분석하고 그에 따른 운영관리 문제점과 개선방안을 알아보는데 있다. 연구대상은 서울특별시와 경기도 S시, Y시에서 종일반을 운영하고 있는 유치원과 어린이집 종일반 교사 200명이다. 연구도구는 설문지를 사용하였다. 연구결과, 종일반 운영관리, 발달 영역, 문제점 등에서 차이가 나타났다. 그에 따른 개선방안으로 유치원은 혼합 연령을 위한 종일반 프로그램의 지원이 요구되며, 어린이집은 독립된 형태로 운영되는 종일반 교사를 도울 수 있는 지원이 요구된다. 또 종일반 운영을 위해 구체적 교육활동 프로그램과 교사연수, 다양한 방식의 보조교사 투입을 위한 구체적 방안과 교사 근무조건에 대한 처우 개선이 모색되어야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the full-day class in kindergarten and child-care center, to examine difference which shows in compare with each institutions and to identify improvement plan of full-day class. For the study, 200 full-day class teachers of kindergarten and child-care center in Seongnam and Yongin responded to a questionnaire developed by the researchers. The result of this study showed significant differences in type of full-day class, assistant teachers, educational activities, essential part of development and institutional facilities between kindergarten and child-care center. In order to improve the full-day class, it is necessary to support full-day program for children of mixed-age class in kindergarten and human resources for teachers who work long hours in child-care center. Also, it is necessary to develop specific educational activities and teacher training program and to find a way to put in many different assistant teacher and improve working conditions of full-day class teacher.
