An Empirical Study on Innovation Capabilities of Small and Medium Enterprises

The purpose of this study is to verify the influence of innovative endeavor to the business outcome as the result of active technological innovation and resource management from the small and medium enterprises which are also in disadvantageous positions. This study substantiates the influence from R&D Ability and innovation capability toward performance within small and medium Korean enterprises. The hypotheses of positive correlations between innovation capabilities and innovation performances were all applied. First, R&D ability and learning ability as a part of innovation capability have positive impacts on product innovation, statistically. Second, learning ability as a part of innovation capability have positive impacts on process innovation, statistically.
