균형성과표(BSC)를 활용한 사회적기업의 핵심성과지표(KPI) 개발

Development of Key Performance Indicators of Social Enterprises Utilizing Balances Score Card

최근 사회적기업에 대한 급속한 관심의 증가에도 불구하고, 지속가능한 사회적 기업을 만들기 위한 핵심성과 그 지표에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 이러한 문제의식 하에 이 논문은 다중 수익(Multi-Bottom Line)과 다양한 이해관계자(Multi-Stakeholder) 및 다기준적 목표를 포괄할 수 있을 정도의 유연성을 지닌 균형성과표(Balanced Scorecard)를 활용하여, 사회적기업의 핵심성과와 그 지표를 제시하고 있다. 이를 위해, 이 연구는 전국의 사회적기업 대표자 및 관리자와 사회적기업 관련 연구기관을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이를 통해, 지속가능경영, 기반확대 및 만족도 향상, 효율적인 운영시스템 구축, 조직목적에 부합한 직원양성 및 역량증진이라는 4개의 전략적 목표를 제시하고, 각 목표에 따른 경제적 지속가능성, 사회적 지속가능성, 고객만족도 향상, 고객획득 및 유지, 경영시스템의 활성화, 기술 및 지식 역량강화, 전략적 정보제공 등의 7개 핵심성과요인과 그에 따른 22가지의 핵심성과지표를 제시하고 있다.

Recently, Korea has experienced a dramatic increase of social enterprises in their numbers and scopes. However, little attention has been paid to the performance of social enterprise and its index for sustainable development. This study suggests key performance index of social enterprises utilizing Balanced Scorecard which accommodates various perspectives from multi-bottom line, multi-stakeholders, and multiple objectives. Through a survey on staffs at Korea social enterprises, this study suggests 4 strategy objectives and 7 key performance factors following 22 key performance indexes.
