정기선사의 기업연합 유형선택에 관한 연구

세계 정기선 시장은 경쟁의 심화로 서비스 질의 차이가 줄어들고 시장이 거대화 되고 다극화 되면서 특정선사가 단독으로 서비스 영역을 확대하여 국제화를 추진하는데는 한계가 있다. 이러한 한계점을 극복하기 위하여 정기선사들은 자사가 보유한 자산, 서비스, 물류네트워크망 등 선사특유의 경쟁우위요소를 보다 광범위한 시장에서 효율적으로 이용 또는 획득하려고 기업연합을 추진하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 정기선사간에 기업연합을 추진하는데 있어 11가지의 결정요인들이 기업연합유형을 선택하는데 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다.

The purpose of this research practically examined the effect that 11 determinants affected on the pattern when the liner shipping company reciprocally performed the corporate coalition. In this study, the research for the Selection of Liner Shipping Coalition Mode focusing on the domestic and foreign shipping lines were executed and the following conclusion was made. First, most of the Liner Shipping were heavy on the strategic coalition rather than on the M&A. Second, this is analyzed that though the Liner Shipping in these days arranged the huge vessels which caused the surplus of the shipping space, they tried to effectively acquire the competitive priority against the competitors by establishing its own global network with the minium investment while reducing the risk for the investment. The Liner Shipping which are going to promote the Coalition in future should establish the management strategy after considering the derived factors. The limitation of this study is that there was a difficulty to choose the decisive factors only basing on the theoretical researches owing to the lack of the advanced researches on the Liner Shipping Coalition.
