This critical essay aimed to react against political act which is sending a message for us using an architecture in the contemporary architectural photography. Sometimes architectural photography is a crucial moment that declared the end of an era and has a corporeality that surpasses flowery angle of commercial photograph of building’s advertisement. Therefore this essay is to focus primarily on the relationship between architecture and architectural photography is made pictures by contemporary artists. It is neither an architectural photography including objective information nor which is sensuous fancy product as a cityscape of post-capitalistic society. In conclusion, the purpose of this essay would have to examine closely how compact extensity of architecture’s plan could represent concise elevation image and what effect has obtained in the architectural photography. This essay mentioned that point particularly about the thinking faculties of photograph rather than various photographic techniques. Furthermore, references photographed by some contemporary artists are described as anonymity, site-specificity, and timelessness ; for example, Thomas Ruff, Andreas Gursky, Kim, SangGil, and Han, SungPil. Although ‘faҫade’ means ‘building’s front elevation’ as a dictionary’s definition and almost inherently meaningful, it is as arbitrary double meaning as just meaned ‘surface’ in this essay.
