제3자 물류기업들은 급변하는 물류환경에 적응하고 경쟁력를 강화하기 위해 TMS를 구축하고 있으나 뿌리 갚게 자리 잡고 있는 전통적 운송환경 때문에 배송 운영 패러다임의 빠른 전환이 쉬운 일이 아니다. 국내 운송환경의 특성에 대한 철저한 분석과 변화관리 전략 없이는 TMS 구축 성공 여부를 장담할 수 없다. 운송 관련하여 그동안 수많은 연구가 진행되어 왔지만 TMS에 대한 연구는 매우 부족하고, 특히 물류기업에 적합한 TMS의 구축방법 및 성공요소와 TMS를 응용한 시스템 개발에 대한 연구는 부족하다. 본 연구는 저13자 물류기업이 자체적으로 개발하여 배송업무에 사용할 수 있는 TMS를 소개하고, 성공적인 TMS 구축요소와 통합배차체계 구축방법을 제시하며, 통합배차를 통해 용이해진 응용사례 및 응용시스템인 의사결정지원시스템을 소개한다. 본 논문을 통해 TMS에 대한 이해와 함꺼ITMS를 응용한 혁신적 프로세스 및 의사결정 지원시스템 개발에 도움이 되기를 기대한다.
In the rapidly changing environments of the logistics field, the third party logistics company implements TMS(Transportation Management System) to strengthen its competitive advantage. However, it is not easy to change the paradigm of operation and management due to the traditional environments in the transportation area. Successful implementation of TMS could not be guaranteed without precise analysis for the environmental characteristics of domestic transportation and change management strategies. Although numerous studies have been made around the theme of transportation, little attention has been given to TMS. Consequently, there are virtually no researches, which attempted to analyze practically how to implement TMS successfully and to explore its applications, especially for the third party logistics. This study introduced a TMS suitable for the third party logistics company, examined the success points of TMS implementation and integrated transportation scheduling, and suggested application cases and decision support systems of TMS. Six success points are presented in terms of strategy and system.
