환경문제가 세계 각국의 중요한 이슈가 되고 있으며 이를 해결하기 위해서는 환경오염행위의 주 원인자인 기업을 비롯한 산업계의 역할이 중요하며, 물류분야에서도 대책이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 기업의 물류조직특성과 환경물류활동인 환경수송, 환경포장, 환경 보관ㆍ하역, 정보, 관리 기능 간의 관계와 조직특성과 환경물류활동이 물류성과에 미치는 효과와 그 영향요인을 분석하여 방향을 제시하고자 하는데 있다. 이 목적을 달성하기 위하여 제조기업을 대상으로 문헌연구와 실증연구를 병행 하였다. 본 연구는 환경 물류활동과 조직특성이 물류성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다는 데 의의가 있다고 하겠다.
Environmental conscious logistics has come to be one of the most important concerns in today’s business, due to the need for conscious use of limited resources and the greenhouse effects. The purpose of this study was to propose strategic approaches to improve firm’s competitive advantages by exploring the logistics practices that increase firm’s logistics performance and reduce environmental problems at the same time. In doing so, we reviewed past literatures on environmental conscious logistics practices, logistics organization management, and firm’s logistics performance, then we developed a conceptual model and researchable hypotheses. Survey data were collected from manufacturing companies to test the hypotheses. Survey data included the variables of environmental conscious logistics practices, logistics organization management practices, and firm’s performance. Firm’s performance was measured by customer service and logistics cost.
