A Study on the Rationalization Schemes of the Physical Distribution of Marine Products

This study aims to layout the rationalization schemes of physical distribution of marine products m Korea, and their details can be summarized as follows : To begin with, the rationalization schemes of physical distribution function can be suggested as stated below. The physical distribution function in the area of production and the function of Fisheries Cooperatives must be activated. In order to do this, layout the rationalization scheme of physical distribution function, the facilities for management, processing and storage must be expanded centering around the port of unloading marine products so that the added value of producers can be increased, and so that the customer's need for the various merchandise can be satisfied, and so that the physical distribution function for the producer's organization in the area of production can be strengthened. Moreover, a new market must be sought for increasing the demand of marine products by developing the various processed articles. Besides, the function of demand and supply and the function of controlling price must be strengthened centering around the producer's organization in the area of production by securing the enough freezing and refrigeration facilities in the area of production. And the efficiency of price making and the efficiency of physical distribution function must be raised through all the process of physical distribution by promoting thoroughly normalization, classification and standardization of marine products through improving packing from the stage in the area of production.
