This paper's object is to study the Korea export firms' Internet Trade activation at EC times. So, I'd like to suggest some methods needed to strengthen the Internet Trade for export firms in Korea. These methods are as follows : First, the export companies are much required to cultivate experts who are in charge of the Internet Trade. Second, with the focus on the Internet marketing, which is called the trade web promotion, they need strategies to be in harmony with the off-line marketing. Third, recognizing the importance of the Internet access as a vital factor in doing the Internet Trade, the concerned authorities should give tax reliefs to the communication expenses and establish the infrastructure as soon as possible. Fourth, it is urgent that they build the favorable environment of the Internet Trade and the flexible trade networks. Fifth, they need to beef up the role of the export supporting organizations and the function of making trade arrangement as well as constructing database on the credit information of domestic and foreign companies. Sixth, trying to strengthen the off-line trade should be carried out as well. Seventh, in order to develop the Internet Business, methods ensuring the security of the trade information, which was not in the old trade practices, should be devised. Eighth, strategies to narrow the gap between the environment of the Internet Trade and that of small and middle-sized enterprises should be established. Ninth, devices required to secure foreign customers in on/off line and their credibility should be equipped. Finally, programs keeping individuals' information from being leaked to the outside should be prepared and abilities in finding the proper information should be improved.
