This paper looks upon the future role by analyzing current circumstances of Incheon port. Incheon port's. new circumstances is emergence of China's economy, potential of South-North Korea's trade. Economic growth of North-east Asia. But Incheon port is not able to overcome the new circumstances in the current level. Therefore, Incheon port needs new changes. Incheon port changes its development target for reacting the changes of 21 century port paradigm. And Incheon port's development is to accept needs of port area and circumstances changes of domestic and foreign countries.
