초등학교 고학년의 성의식 향상을 위한 부모연계 집단상담 프로그램 개발

The Development of a Parents-involved Group Counseling Program to Improve Sexual-Consciousness of Elementary School Students in Higher Grade

본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 고학년을 대상으로 성의식 향상 부모연계 집단상담 프로그램을 개발하고, 프로그램의 효과를 평가하는 데 있다. 연구는 대전광역시 B초등학교 6학년 21명을 대상으로 이루어졌으며, 11명의 실험집단에게는 방과 후 시간을 활용하여 성의식 향상 부모연계 집단상담 프로그램을 주 2회, 총 11회에 걸쳐 실시하였다. 검사 도구는 ‘성지식 및 성태도 측정 도구’가 사용되었으며, 자료처리는 Mixed ANOVA로 통계적 분석을 실시하였다. 양적 결과가 갖는 신뢰성에 대한 제한점을 보완하기 위하여, 집단원이 작성한 회기별 경험보고서와 프로그램에 대한 평가 설문지 및 상담자의 회기별 관찰내용을 정리하여 분석에 활용하였다. 성의식 향상 부모연계 집단상담 프로그램은 초등학교 고학년 학생들의 성의식 향상에 효과가 있었으며 내용분석 결과, 실험 참가자들이 프로그램의 효과에 대하여 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 이 연구는 부모지지, 부모-자녀 간 성 의사소통, 감독 및 통제 등의 부모역할을 토대로 직․간접적 부모연계 방안을 통해 초등학교 고학년 학생의 성의식을 향상을 위한 성의식 향상 부모연계 집단상담 프로그램을 개발했다는 데 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a parents-involved group counseling program to improve sexual-consciousness of Elementary school students in higher grade and to examine its effect on sexual-consciousness. For this research, twenty one students in 6th grade from B elementary school located in Daejeon volunteered in this study. They were divided into two groups ; 11 in the experimental group and 10 in the control group. The implementation of the program was conducted two times per week in 6 weeks, 11 sessions in total. The test tool used in this study was ‘Sexual Knowledge and Attitudes assessment tool’ that was developed by Oh(2002) and modified by Kim(2009). There were some significant differences in improvements of the sexual-consciousness between the experimental group and the control group. The analysis of each sub-factors of the program, the ‘sexual Knowledge’ and ‘Sexual Attitude’ factors of the experimental group were significantly different from the control group. Futhermore, from the results of the analysis of the students' experience reports and the counselor's observations, it can be stated that this program had positive impact on improving the upper graders' in elementary school sexual-consciousness. The implication of this research is that it shows various parents-involved ways which are suitable for the upper graders in elementary school.
