국내철도 화물 활성화에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구

A Study on the factors of Vitalizations for Korea Railroad Cargoes

본 연구는 대내외적 환경에서 철도수송의 중요성이 강조되는 물류환경에서 철도수송확대에 영향을 주는 요인을 기존 문헌을 토대로 도출하여 철도수송확대모형을 제시하였다. 제시된 모형을 검증하기 위하여 AMOS 19.0 프로그램을 활용한 바, ‘화물특성’은 ‘인프라’에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며 ‘비용’과 ‘인프라’ 요인은 ‘철도수송 이용’에 직접적인 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 화물특성의 경우 철도관련 인프라 구축이 이루어졌을 경우 ‘철도 수송이용’에 간접적인 영향이 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그동안 수송수단선택과 관련하여 철도수송전환에 영향을 주는 요인을 검토하는 실증적 연구가 주를 이루었다면 본 연구는 수송수단 확대연구 및 철도수송 관련 연구에서 도출된 변수를 토대로 철도수송 확대연구모형을 제시하였다. 본 연구결과는 연구모형의 실증분석 결과를 토대로 철도수송확대를 위하여 화주와 복합운송업체가 인지하는 결정요인을 탐색하고 철도수송 세일즈에 어떤 요인을 강화시켜야 하는지에 대한 근거를 제시한다는데 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

This study explores and identifies the influencing factors in the decision to use railroads. Moreover, we suggest a new model for diffusing the use of railroad and determinants such as cost, infra-service and cargo characteristics. For exploring this research, we extract factors related with the use of railroads and suggest the new research model using the extracted factors. The results show that the cost and infra-service are determinants for using the railroad system, and the cargo characteristics have an influence on infra-service. However, the cargo characteristics and cost have an effect with infra-service, which is not consistent with previous results. Based on our results, we aware that the infra-service is the strong determinant for diffusing a railroad system. This study has two implications such as academical and managerial. The former is suggesting the new railroad diffusion model and the latter is what factors should be focused for diffusing the railroad system, for example, constructing the infra service based on these results.
