Research on Multilingualism and Multiliteracies -About The Case of Korean Nationality-

Bilingualism, multilingualism and multiliteracies covers several problems, which are discussed in the contact linguistics. The first and second parts are devoted to preface, different concept and definition of bilingualism, multilingualism and multiliteracies. In the third and fourth parts attention is concerned about multilinguals over the world, who related to Korean Möllendorf, Ramstedt, Podstavin, Polivanov, Ma Jianchong, and other multilinguals Baudouin de Courtenay, Jespersen, Jakobson, Tove Skutnabb- Kangas, Li Fanggui, U’esao Tadao, and many korean scholars. In the five and six parts a few concrete examples are said about the process and result of Korean’s multilingualis and multiliteracies. In the final part is recounted the importance and necessity of multilingualism and multiliteracies.
