본 연구는 글로벌 해운선사의 상대적 성과분석을 통한 조직 구조조정에 대한 아이디어를 제시한다. 본 연구의 대상 기업은 한국 주요 선사를 포함한 글로벌 선사에 대해서 수행하였다. 우선 본 연구는 BSC 기반 성과를 측정할 수 있는 핵심성공요인과 지표들을 제시하였다. 이를 기반으로 핵심 성과 지표들을 평가하여 경영에서 집중해야 할 지표들을 보여주었다. 세 번째로 본 연구의 방법론으로 핵심지표들의 인과관계와 DEA을 결합한 다단계 효율성 측정 모형을 제안하였다. 이 다단계 효율성 모형은 비즈니스 효율성 프로세스, 서비스 품질 효율성, 그리고 수익 효율성 단계로 이루어진다. 본 논문은 전통적인 DEA 모형을 이용한 정량적 지표를 측정하는 기존의 연구와는 달리 정량적 지표뿐만 아니라 정성적 지표를 이용한 BSC기반 다단계 효율성 측정 방법론을 제시하고 글로벌 선사들을 중심으로 실증분석을 제시하였다.
This study suggested domestic shipping companies a guideline how to restructure their organizations through the comparative performance analysis of global shipping companies. This study is conducted for global shipping companies including some Korean companies. First, this research introduced key success factors for the partof shipping companies and the related key indices, which could measure key success factors, based on BSC. Second, this research showed where to put their management emphasis on by evaluating the importance of key success indices. Third, this research suggested the multi-Ievel efficiency measurement model combined with the relation of causes and effects and a DEA model. The multi-Ievel efficiency model is composed of business process efficiency, service quality efficiency and profit efficiency. Unlike the existing researches which have measured qualitative indices with the traditional DEA model, this research proposed a new methodology, which could measure not only quantitative indices but also qualitative indices including employee’s satisfaction and customer satisfaction.
