해외파견 봉사단 대상 통합 소양교육과정 개발 방향 탐색

Exploring the developing directions of volunteer literacy program for Korean international volunteer(WFK)

본 연구는 우리나라 민ㆍ관 해외파견 봉사단 통합 브랜드인 WFK 참여자들이 갖추어야 할 공통 소양교육 개발의 방향을 도출하고 개발된 공통 소양교육 과정을 민ㆍ관 봉사단과 공유하기 위한 전략을 탐색함으로써 WFK 대상 공통 소양교육 과정 개발을 위한 기초 자료를 제시하고자 했다. 이를 위해 분야별 전문가 16인 그리고 민ㆍ관 봉사단의 사전교육을 담당하고 있는 실무자 7인과 2회에 걸쳐 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 실시했다. 그 결과 WFK 참여자에게 요구되는 공통 소양으로 WFK의 공통 소양으로서 요구되는 지식은 ① 한국 문화에 내재된 한국적 가치에 대한 이해, ② 한국 근대발전 경험에 대한 이해, ③ 객관적 관점에서의 한국 이해, 태도는 ④ 자원봉사자로서의 성김과 나눔의 태도, ⑤ 글로벌 소통능력, ⑥ WFK로서의 자긍심 등이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 소양교육 방법의 설계 시 ① 성인학습자의 특성을 반영한 다양한 교수법의 적용, ② 주한 외국인 참여를 통한 다양한 관점과 시각 활용, ③ 체험을 통한 학습, ④ 선배 단원들의 참여 확대 등을 고려할 필요가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 민ㆍ관 공통의 교육과정 운영을 위해서는 ① 교육프로그램 보급과 공유를 위한 온라인 리소스 센터 운영, ② 온라인 학습지원 시스템 운영, ③ 봉사단 사전교육 실무자를 대상으로 하는 연수과정, ④ 유관기관들 간 협조 체계 구축과 교육전담 기관의 운영이 필요하다는 결과를 도출할 수 있었다.

This study aims to deduct the developing directions of volunteering literacy program for participants of WFK(World Friend Korea), which is the new name and the new program for volunteers dispatched overseas by the Korean, and the strategies for sharing the program with Korean public and private volunteer agencies. The Focus Group Interview has conducted in 2 times with 16 experts from each field and 7 training coordinator for private and public volunteer agencies. The results are as follows: First, the directions for selecting contents : WFK participants can get 1) Understanding Korea’s culture value, 2) Understanding Korea’s modern growth experience, 3) Objective comprehension on Korea, 4) Respect and share attitude as the Volunteer, 5) Global communication ability, and 6) Pride as an WFK through the volunteering literacy program. Second, the directions for designing program : 1) apply the diverse instructional methods for reflecting adult learner’s characteristic, 2) applicate the foreigners’s various vision and aspects about Korea, 3) adopt the experiential learning, 4) expand the senior volunteer’s participation as an lecturer, and 5) make difference reflecting the volunteering period (long term, short term). At last, the strategies for sharing the program with public and private volunteer agencies: 1) Operating the online resource center for education program, 2) Sharing the online learning system, 3) training course for training coordinators of volunteer agencies 4) Supporting system among related agencies. The results on this research are expected to provide the meaningful suggestion for developing the volunteering literacy program of volunteer agencies in Korean as well as WFK.
