출판콘텐츠 산업 조직구성원의 체면, 자기제시, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움이 갈등관리에 미치는 영향

The effects of publishing industry followers' chemyon, self presentation and fear of negative evaluation on the conflict management style

본 연구는 체면, 자기제시, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움이 출판콘텐츠산업 조직구성원의 갈등관리스타일에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 밝히는데 목적을 두었다. 자기제시는 타인의식 자기제시, 자기의식 자기제시로 나누어 살펴보았으며, 갈등관리행동은 조직 내 대인간 갈등상황에서 참여자가 대인갈등을 효과적으로 관리하기 위해 선택하는 커뮤니케이션 방법으로 통합, 타협, 지배, 순응, 회피스타일로 나눌 수 있다. 분석결과 체면, 자기제시, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움이 갈등관리스타일에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로 체면이 높을수록 회피, 순응, 통합스타일을 사용하였고, 자기제시가 높을수록 순응, 통합, 회피스타일을 많이 사용하였으며, 지배스타일도 부분적으로 구사하였다. 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움이 많을수록 회피, 순응스타일을 사용하였다. 또한 체면은 회피스타일을, 자기제시는 통합, 순응스타일을, 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움은 지배스타일을 각각 가장 잘 예측하였다. 마지막으로 논문의 한계와 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

The current study examined the relationship between the publishing industry followers' chemyon(social face), self presentation, and fear of the negative evaluation on their conflict resolution style. As for the self presentation, it was divided into 'others-oriented self presentation' and 'me-oriented self presentation.' Conflict resolution style is for selecting way of communication in order to manage the interpersonal conflicts effectively. It includes collaborating, compromising, competing, accommodating, and avoiding style. Results showed that chemyon(social face), self presentation, and fear of the negative evaluation affect conflict resolution style. In detail, the more chemyon was, the more became avoiding, obliging, and integrating styles were. The more self presentation was, the more became obliging, integrating, and avoiding styles were. The more fear of negative evaluation was, the more became avoiding and obliging styles were. Chemyon explained avoiding style well, self presentation affected integrating and obliging styles, and fear of negative evaluation predicted dominating style. Lastly, limitations and suggestions for future study were discussed thereafter.
