사이버 세계와 현실 세계에서 대학생들의 윤리 의식 비교

Comparing College Students' Ethics between Cyber and Real World

본 연구는 사이버 세계와 현실 세계에서 대학생들의 윤리 의식을 실증적 인 자료를 활용하여 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 소재 K 대학교 학생을 대상으로 수집한 636명의 자료를 SPSS 15.0 프로그램으로 대응표본 평균비교를 하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻게 된 잠정적 결론은 다음과 같다. 대학생들은 정신적인 측면(인격을 존중하는 것, 올바른 언어를 사용하는 것, 다른 사람의 사생활 침해, 거짓말하지 않고 정직한 것)의 윤리, 신체 및 생명적 측면(사람의 생명을 빼앗는 것)의 윤리, 재산적 측면(타인의 물건을 빼앗는 것, 다른 사람의 재산이나 물건에 손해를 입히는 것)의 윤리 모든 면에서 현실세계에 비해 사이버 세계에서 윤리 의식이 희박한 것으로 조사되었다. 현실 세계보다 사이버 세계에서 다른 사람의 존엄성을 해치는 행동을 더 쉽게 하고 있음이 실증적인 자료를 통해 확인되었다고 볼 수 있다.

This research investigated the ethics of college students’ in cyber world and in real world. To compare ethics between cyber and real world, 8 items(respecting others, purifying language, violating privacy, being honest, taking other’s life, harming other’s body, robbing, and damaging other’s property) were elaborated. The self-administrated questionnaire were developed and executed. To answer research questions, data were collected from K university in Seoul. A total of 636 usable questionnaires were obtained and analyzed by SPSS 15.0 statistical program. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that ethical levels of college students' in cyber world are lower than those of real world across the 8 items.
