A Study on the Advancement of Local Tourism in the Korean Green Tourism

This paper aims to examine the characteristics of Green Tourism in Korea and Japan. After examining the distinct characteristics, the results are applied to check for the enhancement of Korea Green Tourism. Peoples' attitudes are surveyed to grasp the enhancement of local tourism regarding to Green Tourism. The major findings are as follows: - There is a trend that involves recreational activities while experiencing rural life for a long time. - Green Tourism, particularly, is supported to promote rural economics in Korea by using of the various local resources. This paper is based on the results of studying the consciousness of Korean Green Tourism. Further, we point out the importance of tourism exchanges and hospitality of people.
