The goal of this study is to investigate how to actively cope with to become a competitive hotel industry being equivalent in globalization within this rapidly changing world situations. In order to meet the purpose of this study, the Super Deluxe hotel in Seoul participated in this survey in which the environmental features surrounding hotel industry was divided into two categories, dynamism and complexity. Also management strategy undergoing influences by this environmental features was divided into differentiation strategy and overall cost leadership strategy. This study attempted to analyse how the environment and the management strategy are related to formalization of organization structure, decentralization, degree of compensation and systematic decision-making and how the influence to the productivity of industry is different according to the suitability. While prior researches tended to give prominence to financial performance as the principle of mutual agreement, this study tries to set value on intangible service and human resources such as customer satisfaction perspective, internal business process perspective and learning and growth perspective. Finally let's examine the structural relationship between the fitness degree of hotel industry environment & management strategy & organization structure and management performance.
