Every massive events concludes to a festival. Today, festivals are representative Korean culture and they are an understandable standard. There are many festivals in all over the country at the moment. View from a national culture, we are very much confused to see regional festivals. Cultural festival development and policy are aimed at increasing success through the understanding and promotion of those who plans. Regardless they are local government, and they are trying to develop own their event festivals and goods. The most desirable and effective way to make these values known is through the first hand experience of managed those events promotion. This study reports on the considerable points of managerial issues that have taken an in-depth look at the strategical approaches for the implementation of Korean traditional festival planning and development in the future. For the management of cultural and traditional events, it is suggested that strong links required at a regional level with the cultural tourism industry, the success of cultural tourism relies heavily on the support from and partnership with local communities, local government, and technical assistance with other various levels.
