This study is to identify the directions for a tourism resource of the oriental medicine in jeon-buk province. The group is divided as three groups - the experts and civil servants related tourism, local people. Sample size of the expert is 32 and the civil servant related tourism is 67, local people is 236. The results and implication of this study are summarized as the below ; First, In the estimate of the resource quality, Three items, Theme and Interest, Uniqueness, are obtained as highest score. The other three items, Tradition and Locality, Value of Learn, are obtained as high. Second, In the estimate of the resource value, It is measured that the economic value is obtained 4.63 score(92.6%) and the cultural value is 4.50(90.0%), health-care value is 4.75(95.0%), which is the highest value. Third, It is verified that the resource is anticipated to get an appeal power to the whole tourist market. And the most available cooperation section is a local authorities, the most effective marketing strategy is a mass media(T.V, Newspaper, Radio etc...). The important condition for developing the oriental medicine-tourism resource is to develop a materials to eat, play and look around.
