The International Tourism Cooperation Policies of Korea, Japan and China

Northeast Asia especially, three main countries - Korea, Japan and China are observed the highest growth rate both the number of tourists and the revenue in all the part of world. Since the end of cold war era, in tune with the development of world history of regionalization and globalization, three northeast Asia countries are supposed to pave the way for the cooperation in internatinal tourism by taking advantage of geographical closeness and cultural similarity. The international tourism cooperation of Korea, Japan and China is meaningful as belowed. Firstly, more mutual contacts and exchanges should be encouraged and economic, social and cultural integration needs to be pursued. Secondly, international tourism cooperation in this region should contribute to the relaxation of political tensions in the neighboring countries. Thirdly, by developing a tourism network in this region, an attractive Oriental destination can be formed.
