The purpose of this study is to classify Internet business models of tourism-related Web sites and to analyze the success factors of these Web sites. The procedure for this study is as follows; 1) Conduct literature review about the Internet business models and success factors 2) Choose tourism-related Web sites which can offer sales or reservations through Internet after surfing these kinds of Web sites in Korea 3) Suggest a framework for the Internet business model of tourism-related Web sites after classifying the business models of the chosen Web sites 4) Analyze the relations between the Internet success factors and achievement variables such as sales amounts, transaction amounts, number of members and visitors. The results showed that 1) the LAN line as communication factors, 2) preparing time, seed money and strategic alliances as business factors, and 3) webmaster and development methods as Web design and management factors do the roles of the success factors for the tourism-related Web sites. Especially the strong relation between transaction amounts and number of members might reveal that the more members the Web site has the more transactions occur. These results show the development procedure of Internet business that generally includes contents, community and commerce. For the future study, the number of samples should be increased and the tourism-related Web sites as the target objective for the empirical analysis should be subdivided into airlines, hotels or travel agents.
