This Study suggests for the resort development characteristic and strategy in Wonju area. This area recently proactive development ongoing. This study’s main results are as follow. First, Wonju area resorts are integrated and grand scale and sports oriented membership resort. Especially, Main target market is occupy Seoul and metropolitan area. Thus, needs to be attraction development fit for Seoul metropolitan area and youth-adult. Second, According to the survey result shows that facility’s diversity and convenience are strength. While, weakness are service infrastructure’s insufficiency. So that urgently needed are ①tourism resource and long-term stay for attraction development ②information provide and new product development ③service product innovation.
