꽃동네 생명문화담론분석

Discourse Analysis of Bio-culture in KKottongnae

본 연구는 국내 최대의 복지시설인 꽃동네를 중심으로 형성된 생명문화의 담론분석을 시도한 연구로서 본 연구의 궁극적인 목적은 꽃동네를 통해 형성되는 생명문화에 관련된 담론의 의미, 사회적 상호작용의 패턴, 사회적 파급효과 등을 분석함으로써 생명의료윤리 교육을 위한 기초자료를 개발하는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 수집된 자료들은 꽃동네 생명문화 및 생명의료윤리와 관련된 문헌들로서 주로 꽃동네 연보, 꽃동네 회보, 꽃동네 활동기록 및 신문기사, 영성 자료, 꽃동네에 소속된 이들의 체험을 기술한 자료 등이다. 자료분석을 통해 꽃동네 생명문화담론의 형성 및 확산과정, 그리고 꽃동네 생명문화담론의 주요주제들이 도출되었다. 연구결과, 꽃동네 생명문화담론은 ‘인간존중운동’, ‘호스피스운동’, ‘죽음문화근절운동’, ‘생명문화확산운동’, ‘영성운동’ 등의 5가지 주요활동을 통해 형성되고 확산되었으며, 그 주요 주제는 ‘생명공동체’, ‘영성공동체’, ‘사랑공동체’ 등 3가지로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 의료기관 및 사회복지기관 종사자, 봉사자, 관련 전공 대학생을 대상으로 생명의료윤리에 대한 지식, 이론 및 정신을 향상시키기 위해 개발하는 교육 콘텐츠 및 교육프로그램의 기초자료로 활용할수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the process of formation and diffusion of bio-culture discourse in Kkottongnae. And also to identify the main themes of bio-culture discourse in Kkottongnae. Methods: This study took discourse analysis as a design of research. Data were collected from literatures and documents on bio-culture and bio-ethics in Kkottongnae. Data were analyzed using a content analysis. As results bio-culture discourse of Kkottongnae was formated and diffused by 5 movements as ‘human respect movement', ‘hospice movement', ‘wipe- outing dead-culture movement', ‘diffusing bio-culture movement', and ‘spiritual movement'. The main themes of bio-culture discourse in Kkottongnae were ‘life community', ‘spiritual community', and ‘love community'. The results of this study came up with very useful information for developing programs to enhance knowledges, theories, and attitudes on biomedical ethics for students who will be engaged in nursing and social welfare.
