Satisfaction Analysis of Visitors Using Home-Stay in Farming and Fishing Villages

The primary purpose of this study was to examine the satisfaction attributes of visitors using home-stay in farming and fishing villages and overall satisfaction. Three hypotheses were developed to do this. First, there are significant differences between satisfaction attributes of visitors using home-stay and socio-demographic variables. Second, there are significant differences between satisfaction attributes of visitors using home-stay and use type of home-stay. Third, satisfaction attributes of visitors using home-stay may significantly influence the overall satisfaction of visitors. The results showed that there was a significant difference between income and satisfaction attributes of visitors using home-stay and also significant differences were found in the relationship between use type of home-stay and satisfaction attributes of visitors using home-stay. Finally, the research found that satisfaction attributes significantly influence the overall satisfaction of visitors. Overall, this research suggests that the condition of room, cleanness and room facilities are very important factors, which significantly influence visitors’ overall satisfaction.
