The conventions market is one of big business today. The conventions industry is consisted of several factors: convention centers, hotels, convention bureaus, and meeting professionals. At this point, the success and growth of the conventions industry quite depends on its specialist, the meeting professionals. This is because the conventions industry is a people business. This study has analyzed the meeting professionals license in Korea. It has been attempted to use literature and to interview meeting professionals, especially in the area of conventions related industry. The results could be used to gain more understanding of important attributes that meeting professionals and attendees use in evaluating the quality of the convention service, and provide guidance for designing professionals convention services. In conclusion, this study presents the key to success for Korea’s future conventions industry. It is cause of the meeting professionals license with the best qualifications. New license and specific qualifications due to the professionalism in the conventions characteristics.
