This research is focused on the current activity of the domestic golf tourism industry and problems related to the management of golf tourism. The study suggests that promotion of golf tourism is bigs demanded as an opportunity for healthy leisure activities. Domestic golfers have increased explosively in recent years. Golf is considered a game enjoyed by people in the upper class of the social ladder, but now the age group of golfers has become younger and popular for both male and females alike. However, many golfers have been going abroad to play on foreign golf fields resulting in a large outbound flow of tourism dollars. Golf tourism can economically boost a local economy, resulting in development of infrastructure, and employment. In order to promote economic activity in remote areas, the expansion of domestic golf tourism is needed.
