광양 컨테이너 부두의 문제점 진단과 경쟁력 강화 요인에 관한 연구

A Study on the the analysis of problems and the strength factors of competitiveness in Kwangyang container port

최근 동북아의 급속한 경제 성장으로 이지역이 세계의 경제 중심지로 떠오르고 있는 가운데 동북아의 주요 항만들은 물량 확보와 생존을 위해 치열한 경쟁을 하고 있다. 광양항의 개발 목적은 부산항이 안고 있는 많은 문제점들을 해결하고 국토의 균형발전을 도모하고자 하는 처지에서 시작 되었으나 광양항이 개발된 지금 시설은 오히려 남아돌고 있으나 이용율 저조와 물동량 부족으로 국가적으로 큰 과제로 떠오르고 있다. 그래서 본 연구는 광양항의 문제점 진단과 분석을 통해 해결책을 찾고자 한다.

While the production rate of container cargo and transportation of northeast Asia has risen faster than any other region in the world, currently many of the major ports in the northeast Asia is severe competing to take container cargoes and for survival. I supposed that the purpose of Kwangyang container port development was not only to solve many difficult problems which had faced with short of port facilities and exceed of the cargo capacity, but also to balancing national development in my country, but now Kwangyang container port is coming out various many problems such as the lack of cargo and the low utilization of shippers and fowarders even though Kwangyang port facilities have more than enough. So, now I think it is necessary to investgate and analysis stagnant causes in Kwangyang container port.
