선박관리회사의 운항사고 예측 시스템 기초설계

Basic Design of Risk Prediction System in the Maritime Transportation Service of Ship Management Company

이 논문은 한국의 선박관리회사인 STX 포스(주)의 지원으로 선박운항에 따른 해양사고를 예측하기 위한 시스템 개발에 관하여 기술하였다. 이 연구의 목적은 해양에서 발생하는 사고(운항사고, 하역사고 등)를 사전에 예측하여 사고를 예방, 경감, 피해액 감소 등의 효과를 유발하기 위한 것이다. 운항사고에 대해서 다양한 면에서 검토하고, 예측기능들의 불확실성에 대해서도 검토하였다.

The paper presents results from the project 'Risk Prediction System in the Maritime Transportation' sponsored by STX/POS Ship Management Co., Korea. The principal aim of the project was to estimate ship transportation risks that could degrade the safety of shipping in worldwide sea routes by analyzing the underlying factors contributing to the marine accident risk level. The estimated ship transportation risks were discussed with experts to verify the studying results. In addition uncertainty problem in the risk analysis using quality risk assessment techniques was discussed also.
