In this research, a study on the hydrodynamics characteristics of ejectors operated in Multi Effect Desalination was conducted by using Computational Fluid Dynamics. The objectives are to compare the performance and to study the flow phenomena inside of these ejectors. The study also focused on the influence of converging duct angle on the performance of constant-pressure mixing ejectors. The converging duct angle was varied at 0.5°, 1°, 2°, 3.5° and 4.5°. The results show the constant-pressure mixing ejector gives higher entrainment ratio than constant-area mixing ejector. The constant-pressure mixing ejector equipped with converging duct angle of 1°gives the highest entrainment ratio.
