Currnetly, various renewable energy develop have been investigated. Small hydropower among renewable energy is suitable for the real situation of domestic, because it is clean, renewable and abundant energy resources to develop. In this study, the hydraulic turbular turbine is proposed for small hydropower development. The hydraulic tubular turbine using a differential pressure of internal tube is suited to low-head, high-flow rate. This study analyzed the performance that compared the micro hydraulic tubular-type turbine by CFD with the model of 5kW micro tubular-turbine by experiment. In this study, The CFD code used ANSYS CFX that is commercial CFD code for CFD analysis and examines the performance with the number of runner vane.
