초등학생들의 서사 표현의 양상에 관한 연구

A Study on Aspects of Narrative Expression in Elementary School Students

본고의 목적은 상상력의 관점을 토대로 초등학생들이 쓴 서사물의 서사적 표현 양상을 분석하는 데 있다 학생들이 서사를 표현할 때 '상상력이 구체적으로 어떻게 작용하는가'를 면밀히 고찰하면 그들이 어떻게 자신과 세계를 바라보는가 에 대해 좀 더 세심히 살펴볼 수 있을 것이다. Ⅱ장에서는 서사를 상상력에 의해 일종의 선긋기가 이루어진 상태로 규정하였다. 서사의 핵심은 사건의 생성 및 변화이다. 그리고 이 사건 및 사건의 변화에는 항상 의미가 담기기 마련이다. 따라서 서사 표현은 상상력이라는 선긋기 과정에서 직 간접적 경험의 파편들 또는 이미지의 ⋅ 복합 이들의 취사선택에 의한 사건의 결합 및 변형 그리고 의미와 가치를 언어로 드러내는 과정과 결과이다. 그리고 한 편의 서사물은 상상력에 의해 이미지와 사건 그리고 의미가 결합한 것이다. Ⅳ장 1절에서는 서사 표현의 과정을 표현 방법과 구조로 설정하였다. 표현 방법에는 재현, 변형, 창작이 있다. 재현에는 모방적 재현과 경험적 재현이 있다. 변형에는 모방적 변형과 모티프 차용 그리고 경험 변형을 설정하였다. 창작은 새롭게 한 편의 이야기를 생산한 것을 말한다. 표현 구조는 바흐친의 크로노토프(chronotope)의 개념을 변용하여 적용하였다. 여기에는 분열, 비약, 나열, 우연, 계기, 인과가 있다. Ⅳ장 2절에서는 서사 표현의 결과를 표현 유형과 주제로 설정하였다. 표현 유형에는 옛이야기 사실적 이야기 판타지 무서운 이야기 살아남기 이야기 창작 의인동화 인물 이야기 탐정 이야기가 있다. 이는 텍스트에 드러나는 형식과 내용 특성에 따라 분류한 것이다. 표현 주제는 몽상 허무 개그, 교훈, 기억, 연상, 사랑, 욕망, 시련, 극복, 공포, 모험, 기지 등으로 분류하였다. 이는 텍스트에 드러나는 의미 특성에 따라 분류한 것이다. 이들 과정 전체는 상상력이라는 관점에서 한 편의 서사물이 만들어지는 과정과 결과로서 어떤 양상을 띠는지를 보여줄 것이다.

This study is for analyzing aspects of narrative written by elementary school students on imagination. Inquiring into imaginary operating should answer how they are thinking and how they are looking for the world. In second chapter, I prescribe Narrative drawing a line by imagination. Narrative Kernel is creation and alternation of events. Narrative is involved to meanings. So narrative expression is process and result of events combining - transforming, meaning and value by selecting pieces of direct or indirect experiences, complex of images according to imaginative drawing a line. In first paragraph of forth chapter, 1 fix the process of narrative expression as expressive method and structure. There are representation, transformation, creation. Representation is involved to imitative representation and experiential representation. Transformation is composed of imitative transformation and motive borrowing. Creation create a narrative literature. secondly expression structure is that changes in appearance of Baktin's chronotope. There are disintegration, Jumping, enumeration, succession, causation. In second paragraph of forth chapter, I regulate the result of narrative expression as expressive type and theme. Expressive types are involved to an old tale, realistic story, fantastic story, scary story, survival story, creative personified story, person story, men's story, detective story. Expressive themes are composed of a dream, a joke, a moral, memory association, love, desire, initiative, a fear, an adventure, wit. These are classified with meaning quality.
