The results of simulation after runs can be analyzed in various methods. For the proximity measures there are the goal line and in-length analysis, relative and absolute RRF(relative risk factor) i.e. probability of invading the channel boundaries or collision between two ships. This paper is to investigate the current analysis methods of ship-handling simulation result in view of navigation system for channel design and is to make clear the merits and demerits among them and also is to suggest the new direction of this study.
