〈1박2일〉은 야생로드 버라이어티 프로그램이다. 여기서 우리는 〈1박2일〉이 정해진 틀 속에 갇혀 있지 않고 자유로운 형식, 포맷을 가졌을 것이라고 추측하게 된다. 그렇다면 과연 〈1박2일〉은 프로그램 포맷이 없는 것일까. 본 연구는 이러한 의문에서부터 시작하게 된다. 우선 프로그램의 사전 촬영일정과 실제 방송분을 비교 분석해 봄으로써 기본 포맷이 존재한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 각각의 출연자 캐릭터를 자막 색으로 표현한 부분은 다른 프로그램과 차별화된 독특한 포맷이었다. 또한 1년 前과 後의 프로그램 비교를 통해 〈1박2일〉만의 고유한 틀은 변하지 않으나, 다만 제작진의 의도에 따라 일시적이고 미시적인 포맷 변화는 가능하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

〈Two days One night(Il-bak E-il)〉 is a reality show shoot in nature. The title comes to mind that it has no script, no scenario. We wonder how a television programme has no format. Is it possible? The research starts with this question. By the fact the film is well matched to the director’s purpose, we’ve come to a conclusion there’s a basic format of its own which makes it more outstanding. Besides, the producer puts different colored cut-ins according to characters. Each color of the cut-in represents each characters. The general format has been the same but sometimes has been changed slightly and temporarily.
